Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (Releasing on Netflix, July 3)
Mark your calendars for a dose of 80s nostalgia. The legendary Eddie Murphy is back as Axel Foley in the fourth installment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. This time around, Axel, our favorite trouble-making detective, ditches Detroit for a return trip to sunny Southern California. But it is not just a vacation - his estranged daughter, a defense attorney played by Taylour Paige, is in hot water. Facing accusations of conspiracy and corruption, she needs her dad's help.
There is a catch, though. Axel and his daughter have a strained relationship. To make things even more interesting, he will have to team up with her ex-boyfriend (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt). Can they put aside their differences for the sake of the case?
Expect laughs, action, and maybe even a little property damage - classic Axel style! This movie promises to be a wild ride, packed with nostalgia and fresh twists on the original formula. Watch the trailer. Streaming on Netflix from 3rd July 2024.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (Paid streaming on Boomyshow, July 4)
Exciting news for Indian fans of the Mad Max universe! Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, the prequel to the action-packed Mad Max: Fury Road, is finally available to watch online. There is a slight twist, though. For immediate access, you can head to BookMyShow Stream. Here, you have the option to either rent or purchase the movie.
The good news is, you won't have to wait too long. After a few weeks, Amazon Prime Video will add Furiosa to their library of movies accessible to all subscribers. Don't worry about language barriers - the film is available in Telugu and many other languages with subtitles.
Furiosa takes us back 15 to 20 years before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road. We meet a younger Furiosa, played by Anya Taylor-Joy, and follow her journey from a peaceful haven called the Green Place of Many Mothers to the harsh realities of the Wasteland. This prequel promises to explore how she transforms into the fierce warrior we encountered in Fury Road.
With a captivating plot and jaw-dropping visuals, Furiosa seems poised to be a thrilling addition to the Mad Max saga. The question remains: will you rent or purchase the movie now, or patiently wait for it to become free on Prime Video? Watch the trailer and decide!
